I love it when I see something on my feed that makes me pause.
This post-it note’s message instantly brought me back to 2018 and the moment that Katie & I first discussed what we both wanted to do when we finished the uniform work the Padres. Five years later we are here and have a company, a team and an amazing group of partners. We love what we get to do everyday, and please know that everyday is not rainbows and sunshine!
Some thoughts on this pic:
1. Have honest chats with yourself about what you want to accomplish next.
2. Have honest chats with your employees about what they want to accomplish next.
3. Help your employees accomplish their goals, even if it’s not what’s in your best interest.
4. Dream big, but make sure go after your dream with even more energy than you used to dream it up. Ideas are great, but it’s the execution of the ideas that move you ahead.
5. Five years is not that far away…
The last five years have been an absolute rollercoaster ride, and I’m so fired up to take on the next five!
