This weekend I experienced elite youth sports through a completely different lens.
This weekend I experienced elite youth sports through a completely different lens.
Not as a marketer.
Not as a consultant.
As a dad.
Watching my daughter participate in the Adrenaline Lacrosse Futures Showcase at The Star in Frisco reinforced something I’ve believed for a long time:
The organizations that win won’t just host events. They’ll create experiences.
This wasn’t just a weekend of games. It included practices, coaching sessions, opportunities to interact with college coaches, and even a gala that brought the entire community together. Every element was designed to help these athletes learn, grow, and see what’s possible.
As youth sports continues to attract more investment, that’s where I believe the biggest opportunity lies. Not in building bigger tournaments, but in creating experiences that families will never forget.
Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys organization for investing in a venue like The Star. Opening a world-class facility to thousands of young athletes gives them the opportunity to compete where excellence is expected and to imagine themselves on bigger stages.
And credit to the Adrenaline team for understanding that the most important moments don’t always happen during the game.
The best experiences don’t just develop better athletes.
They inspire the next generation.
