I recently realizedโฆ I have ๐ก๐ข๐ง been great at it.
Coming out of ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ง๐ข ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฒโour annual staff retreatโit became very clear that Iโve done a better job telling our story externally than I have internally.
Both matter.
But the ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐น storytelling actually matters more.
Sharing the wins, even the small ones, brings your team along for the journey. It helps them understand the impact of their work and how important they are to the process.
I need to be better at that. Maybe you do too.
