PROMO BREAKDOWN: Dodger Stadium has turned batting helmet nachos into a running bit.
First it was ice cream in a batting helmet. Then nachos in a batting helmet. Now nachos out of a baseball glove.
Same stadium. Same core product. A new vessel every time.
That's the kind of innovation I love to see. Not because a glove of nachos is groundbreaking, but because it's cheap, it's fun, and it gives people a reason to post about concessions they'd otherwise ignore.
You don't always need a new product to create buzz. Sometimes you just need a new container for the one you already have.
