“What motivates you during the highs and lows of entrepreneurship?”

I got asked this question recently. I first shared that I manage the highs and lows by focusing on my motivations. It’s important to understand what motivates you, because during the highs and lows having something to drive you is so important.

I then shared what doesn’t motivate me:

I’m not motivated by money 💰

I’m not motivated by the logos I work with 🏟️

I’m not motivated fame 🤩

Then I shared what truly motivates me:

Never failing the people in my life👩‍👧

I like to get stuff 🏎️

I love doing great work with amazing people 🎥

I think taking notice of what actually drives you to win can be a beneficial exercise for many people to understand what fuel you will need for the highs and lows of your entrepreneurial journey.
