If you want to be a leader and are facing a tough situation, do not run away from the problem. Step up to resolve the issue and try and work it out. No matter what happens with that specific situation, you will learn so much about yourself through the process and I guarantee you will be better on the backside.

I am so happy I got this advice years ago and was able to not only give this advice recently, but also share my experience with a similar situation. Not only did I get better through that experience, now others will too!
