I don’t get angry often, but recently, one of my employees learned what will always set me off!
It started with a simple question: “How was your time off last week?” And then I heard…
“Well, I ended up working all day on Thursday.”
No one is too important to skip taking a break. I explained that this is one of the few things that truly frustrates me. I understand if a few things pop up during time off, but working the whole day? Unacceptable and unnecessary.
The good news: we came up with a better plan for the next break, and it worked really well.
