Observation

His favorite teacher wasn't officially a teacher; he taught the way Wayne needed to learn.

As we head back into another school years and on the heels of a quick visit back to Boston for me, I’m reminded of how special teachers are.

As we head back into another school years and on the heels of a quick visit back to Boston for me, I’m reminded of how special teachers are.

While in Boston, I was able to go by my old High School and say hello to my favorite teacher. My favorite part of that sentence is Mr Tolman wasn’t actually our teacher. Ha! He was the technical adviser in the TV studio, but we had another teacher there as the official teacher.

If you know anything about me, you know that the traditional education system wasn’t for me, which is why I love the fact that my favorite teacher wasn’t a teacher. He taught me the way I needed to learn, not the way the system said I should learn.

Spending time with him and his team last week, it motivated me to share even more because today, any of us can help others learn and the more we share the better opportunity we have of helping others!

Thank you to all of those who take the time to teach others, even if the system doesn’t call you a teacher! 😜
