"Can you come into my office? We need to chat about something..."
We’ve all been there. Whether you’ve said those words or had them said to you, we know that difficult conversations are just that—**DIFFICULT**.
Here’s the hard truth: I’ve grown to *love* difficult conversations because they are the most efficient path to change, and I love efficiency. ⚡
At one point in my career, I noticed an employee who no longer seemed to enjoy the job. They loved the team and the excitement, but the day-to-day grind wasn’t sparking joy anymore—and it showed.
There was denial at first, then more denial… but when the truth finally surfaced, it was transformative. 🙌
Did I want them to leave? No.
Was it the best thing for them? Yes.
Did it end up great for both of us? Absolutely.
Don’t avoid the inevitable or ignore the obvious just because it’s difficult—sometimes that friction is what creates momentum toward success. 🔥
